10. CORRESPONDENCE
11. COUNCILLORS’ REPORTS
Cllr Blake reported that WPCO Tracy has a suggestion box that she would like installed in a strategic place in the village. It is anticipated that this may encourage the parishioners to voice their thoughts on village matters and concerns and hopefully put these in written form in the box. The Council agreed to find a suitable place for this and monitor the response. It was generally reported that vehicles are driving too fast around the estate. Whilst the roads have to be kept clear for the emergency services it was agreed that a request be made to George Batten of Wiltshire County Council for 20mph signs and signs indicating Children at Play. Clerk to instigate and Cllr Ian West copied. It was reported that once again the bus stops need cleaning. This is still done voluntarily by council members and it was suggested that a notice be placed in the Parish Magazine requesting recognition of this and requesting the public to respectfully refrain from soiling these areas. Cllr Green requested a follow up on the 30mph road markings on the Stoford end of the village – these have not yet been expedited and were part of the road improvements. Cllr West to investigate.NEXT MEETING
The next meeting of the Parish Council is in the Village Hall on Wednesday June 25th 08 at 7.30pm.
