Wiltshire Council run a special service for the collection of bulky household waste.
What you can put in your Black Box and Blue Bin changed on 30 July 18. You can recycle your plastic pots, tubs and trays, drink and food cartons in your blue lidded bins in addition to the usual plastic bottles and cardboard.
Normal household refuse is collected fortnightly on a Monday. Full calendar here

Bank Holiday Dates:
There is a charge of £50 for the collection of garden waste from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020.
Existing customers will be sent a unique reference number, by email or post, during April. You will need this to renew online or by phone from 8 April 2019.
Not an existing customer?
You can sign up for the service at any point. If you wish to sign up part-way through the year, you will pay on a quarterly, pro-rata basis. See information below. If you would like to sign up, call us on 0300 456 0103
Bins will be emptied fortnightly, except for two weeks over the Christmas and New Year holiday period.
There are two ways you can sign up and pay for the service:
Securely online by debit or credit card using www.wiltshire.gov.uk/gardenwaste Marks and Spencer and John Lewis Partnership cards cannot be accepted online. If you want to pay using a card from one of these providers please call on 0300 456 0103 NB American Express cards are not accepted,
Over the phone by calling 0300 456 0103
To ensure continuity of collection, payment should be made by 15 June 19.
