Community Speedwatch Update

Ladies & Gentlemen,

Some of you may be aware that, due to family circumstances, I have not been able to continue the role of Team Leader / Administrator of the Community Speedwatch Team; therefore, with no one else wishing to take on the related responsibilities, the Stoford and Newton Speedwatch roadside activities ceased at the end of last year.

 

Team numbers had decreased and we have had only one new volunteer throughout the past three years.

 

Sadly, I have taken the decision to disband the speedwatch team and have returned the equipment to the Wiltshire Police CSW HQ Team for better use elsewhere in the county.

 

Many thanks to all team members for your efforts to make the South Newton parish a much safer place.
