Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:

C283 (Part), Stoford; from its junction with A36 to its junction with Mount Pleasant.

To enable: Wessex Internet to carry out lay approximately 145m duct and build chambers for Wessex Internet.

​

Alternative route: via C283 (unaffected length) – A360 – A303 – B3083 – A36 and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 21 July 2025 and the closure will be required until 01 August 2025.

​

It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
